Content Strategy

Currently, I’m a UX content strategist on assignment at Creative Center, the internal agency at Charles Schwab. As a member of the UX Strategy team, I help copywriters and art directors develop content that meets user needs and business goals, including

  • cross-channel experiences

Recent Projects

  • An interactive, touch-screen table at a conference booth

  • A user-centered redesign of prospect and learning webpages on investment types

  • A nurture email campaign for a robo-investing product

  • A video encouraging retirement plan participants to take advantage of expert consultations

  • A revitalization campaign and welcome experience for a medical association community

  • A student-centered redesign of a university program website


Before I became a dedicated content strategist, I practiced aspects of content strategy in adjacent roles.

As a community strategist at Personify Community, I helped nonprofits and associations build online community spaces and engage their constituents, volunteers, fundraisers, and other stakeholders in meaningful ways. My clients included

As coordinator of the Online Writing Lab at St. Edward’s University, I built and maintained an online writing mentorship program. I oversaw the program website, workflow, interactions, resources, workshops, events, and assessments, and I mentored traditional, nontraditional, and first-generation students as well as faculty.

As an editor in K–12 publishing and academic nonfiction, I worked with writers and stakeholders through all stages of the publishing process, on print and digital products.
